She will discuss what dreams are, and what dreaming means for us.The best person to understand the dream messages or answers to problems accurately and completely is the dreamer himself. Dreams can be many different things, but if interpretation skills are developed, dreams can be utilized as a tool for spiritual growth.
With practice, dream interpretation is an arena to search out answers to problems, find a way to interpret your deepest connection to soul messages that are trying to get the mental awareness involved, give insights about ourselves, and to help make decisions. Methods and techniques for interpreting your dreams and applying their meaning to your life will be discussed..

Roland Beaudet will present a talk on Palmistry. He will discuss what palmistry is, how it works, and how it can provide direction for us. Palms and hands are maps of an individual's character and future. Uncovering their features is the key to interpreting the map, which is accomplished through palmistry.
Reading the palms and hands can be of benefit in two ways: (1) It provides insight into one's health, strengths, weaknesses and interests, and (2) analyzing them can help prepare for changes in the future.

Libby Potter will present The New Biology as discovered by Robert O. Young, PhD., D.Sc., author of the pH Miracle series. She will give an interactive presentation as well as demonstrations. She will discuss the science and dietary choices that support a healthy alkaline inner terrain.
Libby Potter has been challenged with a severely debilitating illness since May 1985 and was told there is “no known cause and no known cure”. Fifty out of 150 documented symptoms for Chronic Fatigue and Immune Dysfunction Syndrome would be constant companions spanning nearly two decades. Libby embraced an alternative/holistic approach to assist her in her desire to be well. She now embraces the truth that the over-acidification of the body leads to a body out of balance which leads to a body in dis-ease.

In this introductory level interactive experience, we will learn how sound and vibration are the creative forces behind all of the known Universe and how to affect our own wellbeing through the use of sacred sound for healing. A variety of simple instruments will be available for participants to explore including frame drums, rattles, bells and crystal singing bowls. We will also explore the use of toning and chanting with the voice to affect healing.

The fourth annual World Hypnotism Day, Friday, January 4, 2008, gives hypnotists world-wide an opportunity to increase public awareness and understanding about hypnosis. There is a special website that can be visited at www.WorldHypnotismDay.com.
The Gateway Chapter of the National Guild of Hypnotists will be holding a free presentation and demonstration at the Holistic Self Care Center, 12 Murphy Drive, in Nashua on January 4th from 6:30 to 8:30 PM. A number of area hypnotists will be available to answer any questions people may have. Handouts will be available.

Traditional Chinese Medicine, Acupuncture, and Taoism, presented by William Kellar, M.Ac. Bill will discuss TCM (traditional Chinese medicine) and its philosophical basis in Taoism, and how TCM and acupuncture are the fastest growing forms of complementary medicine in the country.
He will also speak about how we can find correspondences between Yin and Yang in all facets of our lives, allowing us to find better balance in our health and wellbeing. This should open things up for a lively discussion on this very interesting topic. Bill will also lead us in a Qi Gong exercise. His recommended reading list with his comments:

which relies heavily on the theory and practice of the Tao. It is
better known as the Neijing Suwen or simply, the Neijing. Again,
several translations are available. I recommend the edition by
Maoshing Ni, Ph.D. Shambhala Publications, ISBN 1-57062-080-6.
3) Kaptchuk, Ted J., The Web That Has No Weaver Required
