• Fast Track and Sessions 1-3 are the exact same content, but brought to you in two different pathways so you can pick what works best for your learning style and/or schedule.

Session 1 consists of online modules that you need to complete before attending a Fast Track course or Session 2. Session 2 is combined into three days (Thursday – Saturday) and is the didactic and hands-on portion of our course. These take place in different cities across the United States. You will end your pathway by taking Session 3 which is always located in Phoenix, AZ, held at a non-profit dental clinic (New Horizon Institute) where you will perform live surgery on deserving patients.

Fast-Track covers Session 2 in the first three days (Monday – Wednesday) and Session 3 happens on Thursday and Friday of the same week. This is a more accelerated pathway as all the content is happening in one week as opposed to separating the sessions. Fast Tracks always take place in Phoenix, AZ at Pathway Headquarters.

  • There is no certification you need to place implants in the United States besides your US Dental License. When you complete our Session 3 you will receive a certificate to hang on your wall letting patients know you have completed continuing education in the world of implant dentistry.

  • The International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI) is devoted to dental implant education and is a member only program. To become part of the ICOI, you would need to submit cases and get approved by the ICOI. However, once you complete Sessions 1-3 of Implant Pathway you will become an instant Fellow in the ICOI once you submit your paperwork and membership fee. We host an after party for all our alumni during the ICOI to celebrate your fellowship!

We are accredited with the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID).

  • A valuable part of The Pathway is the opportunity to network with our mentors and build relationships with them that live on past the course. Our mentors teach because they love helping fellow dentists and genuinely want to see you succeed. While it’s not required, our mentors are always helping past alumni via cell phone, email, and text. We encourage you to ask for their contact information and stay in touch after the course!

Many of our mentors are also available via our online Study Club, where you can ask questions, submit cases online, watch CE on demand, and more. Learn more about Pathway Study Club.

  • YES! We highly encourage you to bring your dental assistants to the live surgery portion of the course. We ask that you don’t bring them to the lecture portion as it becomes difficult to accommodate a larger class size with the space we have. We believe it’s much easier to launch implant dentistry in your practice if your DA shared the experience with you instead of you having to fill them in afterwards.

  • We use BioHorizons for our implant system. BioHorizons offers an exclusive starter implant package for our attendees!

  • You can sign up for Sessions 1-2, and then sign up for Session 3 later. There is no price difference. However, Session 3 fills up fast, so we recommend registering for your ideal date as quickly as possible.

  • Yes, you will need to obtain a temporary AZ license from the AZ Dental Board. It's an easy process and the paperwork is simple to complete. We help along the way if you have any questions at all!

  • We offer payment plans for many of our courses. Payments can be split into several smaller payments, depending on which course you choose to attend. We also partner with Proceed Finance, which provides financing options for our continuum. For more information on payment options, please contact Austin Schmitt.

  • First and foremost, dental continuing education courses are required by state licensing agencies. To stay in good standing with the licensing board, you need a certain number of CE credits each year. As an ADA and CERP-approved CE provider, courses from The Pathway are applicable to your state’s CE requirements.

But more than that, dental CE courses are a way to continue learning more about dentistry, and apply the things you learn to your own patients. Offering superior dental care in your community is the best way to grow as a dentist and keep your patients satisfied.

That’s where The Pathway comes in. We offer hands-on training on topics like implant dentistry and CEREC. Expanding your practice to offer dental implants or same-day dentistry can help you stay ahead of the competition, provide better service to patients, and stay on the cutting edge of dental medicine.

In our Fast Track course, for example, you have the opportunity to learn in the classroom. Then, you and your surgical assistant can put your knowledge and skills to work with hands-on training on real patients. By putting theory into practice, you can learn more quickly and feel more confident when you begin offering dental implants at your own practice.

Don’t wait. We serve dental professionals across the entire United States with superior continuing dental education services. Sign up for a course today, or feel free to give us a call at (888) 309-2423 if you have any other questions.
