Dr. Jonathan Austin is a North Carolina native. He is a 2004 graduate of West Lincoln High School. After high school he attended Appalachian State University. During this time he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps, where he completed two deployments. 

Post Marine Corps, Dr. Austin returned to Appalachian where he completed his degree in Cell and Molecular Biology with a minor in Chemistry. He then attended East Carolina School of Dental Medicine, and obtained his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. 

Dr. Austin began his implant dentistry journey in 2016 attending Triangle Implant Institute’s continuum then followed it up with most of the Pathway Curriculum to include The Fast Track, Complications, Sinus Course, Restorative Course, and then attended other Mentors courses on Full Mouth Rehabilitation as well as multiple Zest Locator courses. He also attends Spear and Kois courses.

Outside of Dentistry Dr. Austin enjoys spending time with his wife Kelly and their three children, as well as flying, offshore fishing, and driving a fast car or two.
