A lifelong native of Richmond, VA, Dr. Tommy Han took a non-traditional route to the practice of dentistry. He first attended the prestigious University of Michigan School of Dentistry before transferring back home to be reunited with his young family and received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Virginia Commonwealth University at the age of 36, a full decade older than the majority of his peers. It is this additional time and experience spent in the workforce and customer service realm that Dr. Han feels helps to set him apart by being able to relate with patients from their "consumer" perspective and provide a level of care that is "elevated, but familiar." A true product of the system, Dr. Han has taken practically every course in the Implant Pathway curriculum and credits The Pathway as being THE most influential factor in guiding the direction of his career as a dentist. "It is a truly humbling and gratifying experience to come full circle and wear the Pathway logo now as a mentor and help guide and train a new generation of future implantologists. It's not long ago at all that I saw in their seats as an attendee, and I want them to see that the sky is the limit when they invest in themselves.
